Had the opportunity to play two separate 100-hand sessions of Omaha yesterday (one in the morning, and one in the evening). Yes, this is technically a violation of the starting rules of the experiment, but what the heck... it's my experiment. More to the point, the separation of the two sessions ensured that they were both treated as "perfect" sessions; i.e., I felt rested and focused before each session, and the results were positive.
Nothing too interesting to report from either 100-hand go, other than to say I'm pretty happy with how I'm getting off hands on later streets. Three or four times I laid down pretty big hands on the river when the board paired or three-flushed and I was holding just a straight or two pair. I might have won in at least one of those situations, but as the old poker adage goes, "if you're not occasionally folding winners, you're not playing good poker."
Bottom line is I ended up $3.25 for the 200 hands, which is a tad over 7 ptbb/100 hands. Can't expect much better than that...
All-in for now...
